 Programming Updates

  • Kitlinx has added PAYPAL as a form of payment. Express Paypal is also available
  • We have updated the item cross-reference link Related Items, click here. this allows you to search all related items available for purchase. If you wish to add the "old reference items" previously available via GreatModels, use the ADVANCED SEARCH  and select the checkbox -  Include "Reference Only Products"
  • With the addition of 1,000s of available books to the database, we have added the "Media Mail" option up to 70 lbs to lower the shipping cost of book/magazine ONLY orders - USA Only
  • Lastly but not least, we listened to our customers and found out that some products were listed in BULK in the database... We now offer them as INDIVIDUAL BOTTLES, like all these marvelous Gunze Sangyo Surfacer or Tamiya Primers. Please look in the database for accurate pricing for the "individual bottles"!
  • Search Kitlinx.com and find 51,300 available items. ALL these items are for purchase, including about 800 confirmed pre-orders. There are another 20,000 or so products as "Out of Stock". Suppliers are still indicating that these products are in-and-out of stock (OOS items cannot be purchased).

 Aircraft Skies

The hottest kit of the week was  MiniArt Models - MNA41003 - 1/35 - FL.282 V21 Kolibri Single-Seat German Helicopter

but what do I know? Look below what came from "thin air" as NEW this week

 Armor Mud

I will venture in the hottest kit of the week, but I got two options:

Roden - ROD812 - 1/35 - Holt 75 Artillery Tractor (New Tool) or   MiniArt Models - MNA35210 - 1/35 - Stug III O-Series Tank (New Tool)

but I could have chosen MENG Models - MGKTS38 - 1/35 - SdKfz 171 Panther Ausf D German Medium Tank (New Tool) but our inventory lands early next week!

 Sci-Fi/Fantasy

More on these as they flood the US!

 Book Worm

This book landed at our store, it's NICE! Short format, but full of info AK Interactive - AKI244 - Learning Series 7: Photo-Etched Parts Complete Guide Book

This is the connection we announced a few months ago! We want to be THE SOURCE for books and reference materials. Our experience in this area has been extensive! We finally connected with a major suppliers (over 1,300 titles IN STOCK, 4 days shipping from Utah, but can "drop ship" from the East Coast). Expect some MAJOR updates in the next couple of weeks in available reference materials, from Schiffer, Trocja, JJ Fedorowicz, ADH, Casemate, and MANY MORE but especially from these difficult to find European titles not imported properly in the US (like Tankograd and more). To give you a "taste" of what to come within the next 5 weeks:

 HOBBY SHOWS

Kitlinx will be attending the 2018 IPMS National Convention on Aug.1-4 in Phoenix AZ

The AZ Joe Heads, local 1/6th scale modelers, are also attending with 2 tables and showing off their FOA vehicles

If you are attending the show, please say Hi!

 A PERSONAL NOTE

I've noticed when running GreatModels for 15 years that modelers usually don't know who they are dealing with - behind the computer screen! At Kitlinx, we pride ourselves in our business history and reputation in the industry. And since it's my Anniversary today, and I have a "hot date" tonight with the lady of my life, here's a photo of 7-years ago! (La Galante, 1943 Ford GPW behind me was restored in Free French markings for the 4/RBMF or Leclerc 2nd French Armored Division which entered Paris in August 1944 under the orders of General Eisenhower as a gesture to the French population. This Jeep was later sold to an attorney on the East Coast who changed the markings)
