Kitlinx Changes: 1- Now the "AVAILABLE NOW" logo is blue. It helps to distinguish between PRE-ORDERS, OUT OF STOCK and IN STOCK 2- Kitlinx has shifted many of its shipping from FedEx to UPS. It is quicker to ship, easier for daily pickup, and cheaper 3- A NEW COLLECTION has been entered in the database. It's about 300 white-metal figurines. We are slowly adding pictures and correcting the prices, but many of them are VERY cheap right now... until we find their actual price! 4- DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT: Our customers might notice this warning in the item page, and feel that a kit like the DML 1/72 Apollo 11 Saturn V do not weight 35lbs!! YES, of course it does not weight 35lbs. It's actually around 13lbs. But because of the OVERSIZED box, the shipping companies charge at the 35lbs level... Kitlinx cannot control shipping rates! 5- Updated the MRP/Mr.Paint line and added 400+ paints! 7- Updated Milspec and CAM Pro Decals and corrected many pictures 8- It came to our attention that some lines were NOT showing in the database. We fixed that: HK Models, Friulmodel (now sold ONLY thru its Italian source), Thunder Models, Valiant Wings Publishing and some Takom Kits
Industry News: 1- MMD/Squadron Mail Order websites are down and customers are being refunded for orders made. Loic had a LONG history with Squadron Mail Order. MMD was a key supplier of GreatModels, until they felt threatened by GreatModels growth. Loic has tremendous respect for the late Jerry Campbell and this juggernaut operation which set the rules for mail order in the 1970-1990s. This huge operation seems to have been a victim of progress and a changing environment. Don't forget that Kitlinx has over 350 titles of Squadron/Signal books listed, MOST of them in stock, many of them rare & out of print!
2- Many NEW customers joined the Kitlinx family this week. Kitlinx WELCOMES THEM, but also recognizes that changing your supplier-platform can be challenging. Please read the "How to Works" link to be aware of the differences between Squadron Mail Order and Kitlinx. Kitlinx has the ability to SOURCE products fast and easily. It is NOT always a 100% success, as inventory at suppliers is always fluctuating. Kitlinx relies on network-connections between suppliers to maintain its inventory accuracy. The KEY to understanding Kitlinx is the Online Order Status which lets the customer know the whereabouts of his/her order, tracking included! - last, Kitlinx is JUST STARTING... many more upgrades are coming!
3- Kitlinx has stopped sourcing books at one of its supplier. The "Kitlinx System" only works if the connection between Kitlinx-and-supplier is always updated. If the update is slow, it will frustrate everyone to order a hard-to-find-last-in-stock product that has already been sold

I was off from work and I what to build AFV Club 1/35 M54A2 5-Ton 6X6 Cargo Truck! Well, from where I live and where Kit link is only less than 150 miles! I placed the order with a request that if Loic could ship it as soon as he could it only being only 150 miles thinking it could be here in a day or two, if not then that was fine too. I e-mail them asking about the request and hee-mailed me back saying he had just shipped it! Loic performed a hell mary pass and I got my kit right away in a few days! So, in short Loic and company can and will deliver!
