"I'd like to thank the folks at Kitlinx for having this long out of production Hasegawa FA-18B Hornet "NASA" 852 kit and decals available to change it to the "NASA 846" bird in the photo. My daughter took this photo of myself and my boys at her 1st airshow with us while at the Travis AFB Airshow this past March. It means a lot to me and my boys as it's gonna be built for her.

She was openly adopted by us into the family and considers us her family as well. She was introduced to us at a model show a few years back where she was competing and has been part of the family ever since. She loves anime and as such is an avid Bandai Pokemon kit builder (though she is behind on the new releases) which are the kits she normally enters. I intend to surprise her with this kit when finished, and the other photo I took of her in front of the same plane "NASA 846"  as a birthday present from us on her 18th birthday next year.

NOTE FROM LOIC: Les had an issue with Collection kits that were incomplete. Kitlinx opens EVERY box that comes from a collection. Sometimes a kit is started, or some pieces are missing. Kitlinx employees usually catch the issues, but when dealing with 2,700 collection kits in the last 10 weeks alone, some kits fall thru the cracks... Martin Drayton from Emdee Scale Models built this diorama of the "Tank Duel at Cologne"

"On March 6th 1945, about 2pm the 3rd Armored Division's tanks are advancing towards Cologne's center and cathedral. The city is filled with rubble and debris, making several streets and alleyways unaccessible to armored vehicles.
Several Us tanks are advancing from the Western city district, the only thing stopping them was 3m high pile of debris which Shermans couldn't climb. They stopped about 120m away from the pile. Before the tanks could maneuver around it, a German Panther Ausf. A opened fire, hitting the Sherman's gun shield twice. The Panther had a clear visual over the debris pile on the American tanks from 340m away, under a railway tunnel. The Sherman's loader and driver were killed instantly, the commander managed to crawl out of his tank with severed leg, but he died later when medics were treating his wounds. The gunner managed to exit the tank with minor injuries and he survived the war.

The Panther started to advance after the Sherman was taken out, stopping at Komödienstrasse's and Marzellenstrasse's crossroads, observing the situation. A new M26 Pershing was ordered to investigate the attack site and destroy the enemy tank. The Pershing advanced using a parallel road An Den Dominikanern with its turret and periscope turned to the Panther's supposed location.
The Panther also had its turret turned into the enemy's supposed advancing route. The tanks met with only 200m between. The Panther hesitated to fire due to commander not recognizing the tank, he was expecting a smaller Sherman to appear. The Pershing opened fire on the move and hit under the gun mantlet and it was enough to disable it. While the Panther's crew was exiting the tank, the Pershing shot two rounds on the Panther's hull, setting it on fire. The Panther's loader died later in the field hospital, rest survived.
The Panther kept burning for three days and it became the symbol of the Fall of Cologne"

Since we AGAIN are running out of room. we have started TWO sales at the same time: One for Revell/Monogram & Revell of Germany kits (all in stock) and one for Superscale decals at VERY DEEP discounts (up to 60%)

• OPEN HOUSE - Kitlinx had an open-house last Saturnday May 31st. It was well attended by local hobbyists. We have decided to switch the Saturday for the "Open Warehouse". It will now be the SECOND SATURDAY of each month. Next "Open-Warehouse" is July 12th!

"It's been a few years since I moved away from a city that had an easy-to-get-to hobby supply store, and I became dependent on 4 different "online" stores. Through trial-and-error, with orders placed with all 4 of these companies, I have since come to rely on just 1 of those 4, with Kitlinx now, over the past 2 years, becoming my "go to" online source. I have found that any possible product that I need (model aircraft building) can be found on their website. As for ordering/shipping, my most recent order, when it arrived I found that one item, though listed on the "packing list", was not actually in the box. When I, same day, notified Kitlinx of this (via email), they "fixed" this issue immediately. These guys are not only good, they are to be trusted. My thanks to your shipping staff! I find that excellence is your 'norm.'"
