I bought this on a whim as I build mostly dioramas and thought this might be a cool little tool to have. It's compact, the tool measuring 1.5 wide, 1.75 long and 1.5 high. Nice that it doesn't take up a lot of space. The premise is very easy, slide the tool opening over a sheet of paper and push the button on top. Not unlike a regular paper punch except each time you press the button you get four precisely cut leaves. One Oak, one Birch, one Lime (Linden) and one Firmiana (Chinese parasol tree).You can make hundreds of leaves in minutes. Since I purchased this tool for dioramas I believe tissue paper (the kind you wrap presents with) or parchment paper will work the best as its thin and very pliable. I'll pre-paint with whatever shade I will need ( leaves on the tree, leaves on the ground, autumn, fall etc.) The only drawback I can see is that the cutting area will eventually dull out and there is no way to replace it, however, the cost is cheap enough just to buy another. Longevity remains to be seen. This is a nice, compact addition to my diorama toolbox.
