"fast boat") of the Kriegsmarine
during World
War II
S-Boats "Schnellboot" gave the Allies fits.
Capable of attaining speeds of 50mph and ranging up to 700 miles, the S-Boat
was the easy-to-produce commerce raider Germany needed to strangle supplies to
the UK. They sank over a hundred merchant ships, totaling hundreds of
thousands of tons. Plus destroyers, minesweepers, and more. With a 40mm Bofors
on board, the vessel became even more deadly. Both aircraft and unarmored
ships could be blasted apart with this superior armament. Kit features
