We have updated our policy page

  • Parts missing from Kits/Accessories: Kitlinx do NOT open kits or accessories. Manufacturers are responsible for the accuracy of their packaging. Kitlinx will first refer the customer to the Manufacturer if a part is missing. If the Manufacturer do not respond to the mistake, Kitlinx will gladly procure the part(s) to the customer if still available. Please be patient during this process.
  • Mistakes: Kitlinx has strict procedures to check/double check products before it ships to customers. But as any operations shipping 1,000s of products, some mistakes could occur. Please contact Kitlinx about any mistake. Most often, we will ask you to ship the product back IF YOU RESIDE IN THE US. Foreign customers may be asked to combine an order with the re-shipment of a corrected piece to limit the shipping liability.
  • Shipping Corrections: Kitlinx uses an automated software to calculate shipping costs. It is based on "calculated weight" depending if the product is a kit, accessory, decals, book. Sometimes, this calculated shipping is under-charged (especially on large & light kits entering the "dimensional weight" criteria) or over-charged if the weight is wrong. Kitlinx NOTIFIES customers on the first couple orders when a credit is given. After a few transactions, Kitlinx still provides the shipping credit, but do NOT inform the customer. Please make sure to USE YOUR CREDITS at the payment step during check-out (just check the box if a credit appears!)



We are all tired to hear about the Coronavirus... but we got a few concerned emails, so let's address it: Utah has only 5 recorded cases in a population of 3 millions! Your packages are SAFE. It seems like our incoming European packages are NOT affected by the US restrictions because it transits thru the UK. So really.... stay safe, but models from Kitlinx will KEEP YOU BUSY in your home! Don't buy more toilet paper... buy models from Kitlinx!!

Check your order status!  

  • Kitlinx is a "broker" of models, books and accessories (KIT↔LINKS). It means we have ~16,000 in stock items, especially the HOTTEST products. But we source ~70,000 additional products, in the US and abroad - remember that's why Loic came back to the business. NO ONE in our industry offers a similar system at this operational scale.

  • Look at the STATUS on each item. When it says "Special Order in Europe, Ships in less than 2 weeks"... we mean it! Actually, it's an estimate (Kitlinx does not control the Postal Service or Customs). Our international order made on Monday arrived Friday!! That's the best we've seen... Faster than UPS/FedEx Ground from the East Coast!

  • Look at your ORDER STATUS - Kitlinx offers an update on items we source. There is an "expected date" on each sourced item (that's when Kitlinx receives the product). 

  • Watch for MULTIPLE items. Some customers order x10 of one product. Even distributors might not have those quantities. Orders are held, if NOT COMPLETE.

  • NO "expected date" on ONE of your ordered product? It will HOLD your order, so please "MAKE A DECISION"... that probably means the supplier sold out (between updates - that's why our NEW system coming later this year will automate this process). Suppliers restock often, but Kitlinx does not control their business. After 30-days, if Kitlinx receives no communication from customer, the missing item will be refunded/credited and your remaining order will ship automatically.
