Kitlinx Newsletter - June 12, 2021

BREAKING NEWS: Moving!

  • Moving: Kitlinx is currently moving 9 miles North on I-15 to South Salt Lake City. A retail store will be in front of the warehouse and will open on August 1st. Please look below at some pictures of the move, from the old warehouse to the new. Kitlinx will triple its space! The move does affect operation, but we intend to start shipping again on Tuesday June 15th... especially since a European Order arrives on Monday... Kitlinx appreciates your patience in our slow email response, and some shipping delays - if you are local, come help us!

  • Kitlinx2 update: Customers should see the check box: "Click here to use the cheapest carrier/rate if weight allows - credit the difference". This check box is for order slightly over 1 lbs for the US or over 4 lbs International. Since the product weighs are computer-generated, it is sometimes inaccurate. If you are choosing USPS Priority because your package is 1.2 lbs, but the true weight is 8oz, then our shippers will use the cheapest rate (USPS 1st Class) and credit you the difference on your account.

  • Customer Support Emails: Kitlinx is trying to keep up with the flow of emails. The MAJOR issue with our programming right now is that "Kitlinx-on-the-Cloud" is still on TESTING-MODE. "Kitlinx-on-the-cloud" will allow customers to modify/add/remove items on orders ONLINE (except complete orders on Packing Table). These emails are VERY IMPORTANT TO KITLINX. Please use the email SUBJECT- LINE to describe your inquiry. i.e "modify order", "cancel order", "add item", etc. Kitlinx prioritizes emails with subject lines.

  • Bandai: Kitlinx is slowly updating this line. There are about 580 available SKUs, but right now showing only 370. We are starting with pictures and descriptions/scale, and last Kitlinx will finish the 200 missing SKUs. ALL these products are in stock for immediate shipping

This is the "old" warehouse, with models stacked up too high and too tight...

Welcome to the NEW warehouse. Our stash is bound to grow now!

BIG thanks to MMD/Squadron for all these marvelous shelves that will grace our accessories boxes. Much more on the other side...

Your Feedback:

Order 20870.  I wish to express my appreciation for very good accounting with this order--a Hobby 2000 MIG-15 in 1/48th. KITLINX  applied  courtesy postage overcharges as well as the amount I paid for decals which, sadly, could not be acquired.  Again, good job!

Mark, from Maryland just earned $5 credit!

I have been modeling for over 40 years, but still don't always plan ahead as well as I could.  I got my current project, a Roden 1/48 Beech Staggerwing,  all the way through the painting stage before deciding to test the decals I planned on using (tested them on a scrap piece - I got that right!).  The decals simply shattered when trying to use them and I was concerned whether I would be able to finish the model.  This is where Kitlinx shines.  I needed Microscale Liquid Decal Film ASAP and you had it in stock and shipped quickly, even under current circumstances.  The product worked great and allowed me to use the decals without further problems.

Thank you.  Keep up the good work and stay safe!

Dave from Wisconsin just earned $5 credit!

Amazing concept-once you get used to it very happy-and your prices are truly great. Thank you I’m a fan!

Tom from California just earned $5 credit!

Search Tips:

[Kitlinx is still working on its LEFT COLUMN searches. This work will be completed as soon as "Kitlinx-on-the-clouds" is working smoothly]

Let me add some "tricks" to the POWERFUL search engine of Kitlinx (the SEARCH BOX at the TOP of the website). Below are the KEYS to search ~ 80,000 available products (63% in US, 37% in Europe)

1. Use the top box search on Homepage

2. Use several keywords separated by spaces to zero-in your search "1/48 spitfire aircraft_model" (59 kits)

3. Use the underscore "_", like armor_models or Tamiya_ or aircraft_accessor "1/48 spitfire aircraft_access" (456 accessories)

4. Use keyword "instock" to JUST search for in-stock items

5. If you are searching for SALE items, use the keyword "~special~"

6. Don't forget the Manufacturer's link on TOP of each Product-Page. It quickly shows ALL available product from the same manufacturer

7. DO NOT use the asterisk "*"
