Kitlinx Operation Status: Kitlinx & Field of Armor Tanks are now fully moved to our new warehouse. The extra space allow us more flexibility. There is no question that our operation was "shaken" by this move. Not only it was physically exhausting to move during this current heat-wave, but also books and paints still need to be perfectly organized to regain our efficiency. Below you can see some pictures of progress with the MRS new store, and our warehouse setup

Operational Difficulties: Many operation would have SHUT DOWN during such a move. Kitlinx decided to keep the operation open. Many of our customers have received their orders. We are still working on a handful of orders where products "disappeared mysteriously"... but since every box is now being inspected, we should resolve all these orders this week. Sorry for the lack of email communication, but all Kitlinx personnel was "on deck and getting dirty"

Inspiration of the Week: One of Kitlinx local customers picked up his order this week. Let's say his name was "Dennis". He served in the Navy on the USS Midway during the end of the Vietnam war (Operation "Frequent Wind"). He then described how South Vietnam Air Force Maj. Buang-Ly stole a O-1 Bird Dog and helped his wife and 5 children - 14 months to 6-yr-old) escape, following a group of helicopters to the USS Midway. Then he radioed his fuel status of just 1 hour. Capt. Lawrence Chambers, the first African-American carrier captain, ordered the Midway to turn into the wind, and ditch $10 million worth of helicopter into the sea - against his superior's advise - he actually was never court-martial for this event and ended up as a Rear-Admiral after a long career in the Navy. Dennis wore a white jacket on the deck, as he was an Aircraft-airframe specialist. He said that you can see his back on that picture (see link above)... The youngest girl was stuffed into the rear fuselage and control cables had made cuts on her little wrists! Isn't this hobby full of fun people!

1. Use the top box search on Homepage
2. Use several keywords separated by spaces to zero-in your search "1/48 spitfire aircraft_model" (59 kits)
3. Use the underscore "_", like armor_models or Tamiya_ or aircraft_accessor "1/48 spitfire aircraft_access" (456 accessories)
4. Use keyword "instock" to JUST search for in-stock items
5. If you are searching for SALE items, use the keyword "~special~"
