What's New?

  • Kitlinx is working very hard on that HUGE 1,200 kits collection, about half in the system right now, and many have sold already. But we also received other collections THIS WEEK that we are adding to the same link. It changes EVERY DAY!
  • NOTE: Kitlinx uses the inventory of our TWO Hobby shops (Sandy and South Salt Lake City) in addition to its own warehouse. Since the South SLC Hobby shop is joined to the warehouse, inventory transfer is immediate. But the Sandy store inventory [12 miles away] is transferred to the warehouse the NEXT day. Please allow for this 24-hr delay in shipping, which your order status mistakingly will show as one week.

Great little kit, very well molded and detailed. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because there is some sort of sticky goo (mold release agent?) on the trees that is hard to get off as it's not water soluble. I have heard that ICM kits of a certain vintage can have these issues. It looks like it will build up into a fine replica, just be ready to use a mild solvent to clean the parts. The other reason for 4 stars is that the kit is used. I do not have an issue with this as the kit is in fine shape, just a little box wear, and there are no decals to worry about, I just feel that Kitlinx should be more clear about whether a kit ordered is in fact used or new. That being said, you can't beat the price, under $10 for a quality kit, so it's not a complaint so much as a constructive criticism so take that for what it's worth. Thanks again Kitlinx!

NOTE from Loic: Yes, sometimes kits are coming from collections - or in this case, an ICM very old release. We are doing OUR BEST to indicate "collection -" in the description, but it's sometimes difficult with so many collections we capture. We open each box to have a quick assessment if any part is missing, or kit was started. All started kits will transfer to the Hobby Shops and will NOT show on Kitlinx. If the box is damaged, we will definitely will indicate it. That Newsletter credit should cover MOST of the kit (-;

Search Tips:

"Tricks" to the POWERFUL search engine of Kitlinx (the SEARCH BOX at the TOP of the website). Below are the TOOLS to search ~ 100,000+ available products (67% in US, 33% in Europe)

1. Use the top box search on Homepage  

2. Please note that the keywords you type will stay in the search box. It will allow to correct typos or slightly change your search

3. Use several keywords separated by spaces to zero-in your search. Example: "1/48 spitfire aircraft_model"

4. Use the underscore "_", like armor_models or Tamiya_ or aircraft_accessor. Example: "1/48 spitfire aircraft_access"

5. Use keyword "instock" to JUST search for in-stock items  

6. If you are searching for SALE items, use the keyword "~special~"
