What's New?
- NEW SERVER!! Kitlinx has now a new and improved/faster server. You will notice a change in the speed of your searches
- Password Problems? Along with "changing a server" comes the hiccups... Many of our customers complained that their passwords were not working. This was fixed!
- To avoid overwhelming the Newsletter, we are NOT showing the 200+ KV Masks released this week in Europe. You can search them on the website
- HOT RELEASE: Takom has released the 1/35 AH-64 Apache series, and we are shipping these choppers on Friday! (that's tomorrow!). We have also adjusted the lower price [better supplier!], and customers who pre-ordered these kits did receive a credit for the difference.
- PICTURES: Kitlinx ran a diagnostic on its website to identify all "broken picture links". We found over 4,000 broken links! These links have been removed, and Kitlinx has started the painful process to reload the proper pictures for each item. Currently, out of 114,311 items showing on Kitlinx.com, there are 11,177 missing pictures (9.8%). It's going to take time!
- PICTURE HUNTING: If any of our customers are interested to "web-hunt for pictures", please send an email to loic@kitlinx.com. Kitlinx credits $0.25 per picture. We can also offer a digital list of pictures missing, and a location where you can get them! We take "raw pictures" and Kitlinx runs a Photoshop automation to format them appropriately for publishing. CAUTION: Kitlinx offer credits for pictures USED. So please ask first if you wish to work on these lists.
Nuremberg Toy Fair 2023! Below are some of the HOTTEST items announced at the toy fair, including some "test shot" of the highly expected ICM 1/35 CH-54A Crane! Since this newsletter is already too long, let's focus on the two ICM kits 1/35 CH-54A, Tamiya 1/35 Jagdpanzer IV/70(A), and the exciting Infinity 1/32 B5N2 Kate and 1/32 D3A Val (finally in 1/32 scale!) "This is my 5th completion [...] Painted mostly with MMP paints with some exceptions using Alclad on some the metal colors. The camo pattern was done freehand airbrush trying black basing techniques for the first time. Panel lines, light streaking and staining were done using various oils. I did do some 3D printed parts to this to add some detail. 3D printed parts are the targeting pod on the port wing, the hydraulic cylinders for the air brakes, and the canopy hinge mechanism. I have a lot of room for improvement, but I think the lowest hanging fruit for me is improving my clear parts attachment and masking. Also my wheels were hand painted without mask, I have ordered a circle cutter as I think that could up my game"

"Tricks" to the POWERFUL search engine of Kitlinx (the SEARCH BOX at the TOP of the website). Below are the TOOLS to search ~ 100,000+ available products (67% in US, 33% in Europe)
1. Use the top box search on Homepage
2. Please note that the keywords you type will stay in the search box. It will allow to correct typos or slightly change your search
3. Use several keywords separated by spaces to zero-in your search. Example: "1/48 spitfire aircraft_model"
4. Use the underscore "_", like armor_models or Tamiya_ or aircraft_accessor. Example: "1/48 spitfire aircraft_access"
5. Use keyword "instock" to JUST search for in-stock items
6. If you are searching for SALE items, use the keyword "~special~"
