What's New?

We programmed a NEW feature into our database connections with our suppliers, which was overdue. Some products are NOT sourced in Europe because the price is higher than US-based. BUT, if the product is NOT available in the US, we want our customers to still be able to decide if that 15-20% higher cost in Europe is worth getting a product not available otherwise. We have programmed a way to reach these items! It added about 400 products to our database that now breaks the 115,000 (about 105,000 available). Many of these products are DML/Dragon and AFV Club! Enjoy "the hunt"... One example: DML6750 T-28 Super Heavy Tank. Plenty in Europe... none in the US?

Fun Fact

Loic will be visiting the Trinity Site in New Mexico this weekend. This tour of the WW 2 Atomic Bomb project is open to the public twice per year. He will be commenting with pictures and comments on Kitlinx Facebook page. Don't hesitate to comment. We have a Geiger counter in our luggage!

Your Feedback:

Very happy to find a discontinued kit that was part of a collection on your site at a fair price.
Will be scrolling thru the collection items on a regular basis

I just received my EagleCal George Preddy order. I couldn’t find where to leave a review so I thought I’d shoot you an email. In the age of overnight Amazon packages, your company shines with outstanding brilliance! I have never seen such care in packaging. That alone will make me a repeat customer, not to mention your aggressively competitive pricing. Thank you

Over the last 10 years, I've watched the inventory of online modeling stores plummet into near non-existence.  Stock was not being replaced but literally removed - entire pages of it.  Now, I model in a more niche scale and subject than most do:  1/700 ships, mostly WW2 but some modern.  I've seen the number of available pages decrease from a dozen down to perhaps three or four pages in some stores.  Sure, you can get several hundred variants of M4 Shermans or German Tigers ... or piles of Me-109s and Me-190s and  F-5s on up through F-35s ... and plenty of different choices for Iowa class 1/700 scales - and Bismarck/Tirpitz class - and Yamatos/Musashis everywhere.  Only Trumpeter seems to be putting out new models - and only KitLinx allows me to get some of the older models that have all but vanished from online stores.  Not sure where KitLinx is getting them, but I'm trying to snag a few of them before they are, once again ... gone

Richard Gates, from Cookeville, Tennessee, built this Hobbyboss 1/72 Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib.

"Extras used: Yahu YMA7238 Typhoon Mk. I Instrument panel, Montex canopy mask (Part# 72202). Additions: Built cockpit framing from Evergreen sprue, used lead wire with PVA glue to create the rocket connection wires. Free-handed the camo pattern with an airbrush. Paints and colours used: AK Interactive: Gray Microfiller primer, Mr. Metal Color: MC214 (Dark Iron), Mr. Color: H52 (Olive Drab), C364 (Gray-Green), H47 (Red Brown), H8 (Silver), H90 (Clear Red), H94 (Clear Green), C362 (Ocean Gray), C363 (Medium Sea Gray), C361 (Dark Green), H4 (Yellow), H5 (Blue), Tamiya: XF-69 (NATO black), XF-85 (rubber black), XF-86 (Flat clear)

Thinner: Mr Color Rapid Drying and Mr Color Leveling

Weathering: Flory Dark Dirt, oils and AK Interactive weathering pencils

Comments: The kit goes together very easily. The cockpit has very little detail, but you have room to customize and add details. The canopy is not exactly the correct shape, but close enough in this scale. The decals are pretty good, had to put a couple of layers of Sol on them to get them relax and settle down. The kits is a good value for what you get, I paid $9.00 (US) for the kit and paid $8.00 for the Yahu instrument panel and another $6.00 for the canopy mask set"
