Modeling News

• Our European supplier has STOPPED all orders going out to US customers. This is followed by most international supply chain (Australia, Hong Kong, New Zealand, mainland Europe). The US Postal Service is not accepting packages until the tariff rates are published and suppliers know how it is applied to each order, and collected by US Customs. We will keep you posted but hope this "mayhem" to be resolved by next week!
• Kitlinx is still expecting a European order by Friday or Tuesday (Monday is Labor Day)
  
• Programming: A "big" programming change happened during the week. We have been asking for years to our programmers to fix a nagging issue. If an item is IN STOCK and not available on the market AND is sold-out, this item goes to "not available for purchase" on the website rather than frustrating our customers who can still purchase it until the next upload, and receive an email that the item was oversold.
• Shapeways "unrecognized": You may see on the database some kits we received from a collection that are "unrecognized". These kits were looked at by experienced modelers and no one could find their description!! Kitlinx is requesting YOUR HELP. We have taken close-up pictures. Please send an email to loic@kitlinx.com or thru customer support support@kitlinx.com to help us identify these birds... or you can just purchase them and they'll stay unidentified to us... but not to you!
• EXCITING NEWS: Kotare has announced the release (in mid-2028!) of a 1/48 Halifax Mk.II Bomber. This subject is definitely "under-served" in the modeling industry and will be a welcome addition of your Lancaster, B-17s or B-24s. Is the "1/48 monster" Stirling ever going to be released? Kotare is staffed by the awesome crew of designers from the "defunct" Wingnut Wings.
