Scale Model Show will be
held in Farmington Utah on Saturday October 10, 9am-5pm. Kitlinx will
not attend but we are the sponsor of several awards
2. You may have noticed that Kitlinx is still performing INVENTORY of
its decals and Accessory Lines. We find LOTS of products and put them
on the NEW releases

Portrait Busts
Kitlinx is
holding a "competition" to
render a Maddog 1/4 bust with ACCURATE FACIAL FEATURES & COLORS. We
are part of the FB group "New
Standard Museum Mannequins". The
painting of a figure is very difficult and require many shades and
details. One of their amazing work is showing below. The Rules are:
1. Use one of Maddog 1/4 scale bust (remember it's ABS filament, so it
might require you to slightly smooth the surface - or you can buy the
bust in resin)
2. The tunic, medals, or head gear will not be judged - it's all about
the SKIN WORK
3. Send an email to support@kitlinx.com with a picture of your figure,
with a minimum resolution of 2,000 pixels. We need to see your work
4. Kitlinx will post the various renditions before Christmas 2026. We
will ask a group of 3 independant judges (locals and reputable friends
of Kitlinx)
5. Price: $200 of credits on Kitlinx for 1st place. $100 second place,
$50 third place.
6. The winners will agree to write a short report on their experience
with the 3D printed busts, and disclose their methods.
