Before I could get Mr Colour paints, I used the Aqeous paints a lot. Usually an isopropyl/water mix worked well through my Badger 150 airbrush. The ratios of alcohol to water would change depending on the pigment applied. I found it rather easy to apply, most times better than Tamiya flats. To clean, I would use either hot, soapy water or acetone to get everything out. This is my anecdotal experience.
